The Ugra State Library is the main library of the Khanty–Mansi Autonomous Okrug. It is an information, educational and cultural center of regional significance; a central repository of local history documents; the largest public public library for all categories of users, which participates in determining the priorities of the library policy of the district, and also serves as a scientific and methodological center for public libraries of the district. The service department, the department for work with children and youth, the storage department, the Department of Local History literature and Bibliography, the Regional Center for Access to Information Resources of the Presidential Library are at the service of readers. Information resources include universal funds in terms of content, numbering more than 280 thousand units of storage. The exclusive function of the library is the formation and storage of local and local history publications, publications in the languages of the Finno-Ugric peoples. The Yugorika collection includes all sources of information, including manuscripts and photographs. The library has interest clubs, a theater studio "Live Pages", a cartoon studio "Silkworm", a VR workshop of Yugra. Art exhibitions and vernissages, computer literacy courses, programming and web design courses, 3D animation and 3D modeling, as well as free Wi-Fi access zones are held. At the end of 2021, the library joined the Pushkin Map project and conducts a number of activities within the framework of the project. Among them are quest excursions, quizzes, master classes, an excursion to VR, a comics laboratory, a youth lecture hall.
