The Siberian Uvaly Nature Park was founded on October 15, 1998. Total area: 299,620 ha. Oil has never been extracted in these places, a high number of animals has been preserved, and yet it is possible to get to this territory only in 2 hours by plane or helicopter. For this reason, the Khutorok visitor center was opened in 2003 (on the lake. Long), which today is a testing ground for environmental education and tourism. For this purpose, museum expositions dedicated to the inhabitants of Ugra and the indigenous peoples of the North have been organized on the territory of the center, mineralogical and entomological collections have been collected and conditions for active recreation and camping have been created.
