SUMMER Mood

The exhibition presents paintings and graphics from the collection of the Surgut Art Museum, dedicated to summer landscapes, floral still lifes, rural and urban motifs.

Here you can get acquainted with the works of famous masters: Konstantin Korovin, Nikolai Osenev, Leonard Turzhansky, Vladimir Pribylovsky, Viktor Teterin, Alexander Yakushin and other artists. The exhibition also includes works by photographers from Surgut, Novosibirsk and Moscow.

The exhibition is built around the artists' personal impressions of their summer trips. Some works convey the tranquility of rural life, while others convey the architectural beauty of old towns. 

Each work is not just an image, but an emotional response of the author to the beauty of the surrounding world. Through color, line, and composition, the masters convey their perception of summer: somewhere it sounds bright and sonorous, somewhere it sounds soft and peaceful.
