XI Regional Festival "Kӓtӆali" ("Khatly")

On August 28-30, the XI Regional Festival "Kӓtӆali" ("Khatly") will be held in the city of Megion and the Nizhnevartovsk region as part of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and the Year of the Young Family in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra.

This year, Ugra Park will turn into an experimental laboratory, where representatives of museum communities, ethnographers, scientists, craftsmen and professional artists will receive metal from marsh ore, cast totemic animals, decorate household items and clothing with metal, and conduct experimental activities to create creative works in an ethnographic environment.

The program of the festival includes the work of the scientific and practical conference "Ugra - dialogue of generations", presentations of exhibition projects, the work of the bear games school, the district art plein air, master classes from the indigenous peoples of the North, artists, lectures, the work of the Khanty forge.
