Guided tour of the main exhibition "Lines of Destiny - the point of intersection"

The exhibition presents the history of the region and the history of the city. Not only archaeological and ethnographic collections characterizing the life, occupations and foundations of the Pelym Mansi found a worthy place in it, but also materials reflecting in detail the 50-year history of the development of the city of Yugorsk: personal belongings, photographs and documents of city residents, objects of labor and everyday life of the 1960s-1990s. The history of the city of Yugorsk reflects in a peculiar way all the pivotal events of the modern era of Western Siberia – the development of forest resources and mineral resources, the construction of railways and the birth of new modern cities among the taiga and swamps.
