Konno-sports club «Alkor»

Equestrian sports club «Alkor» operates on the basis of the municipal Autonomous institution of additional education center «Patriot». For citizens, its opening was a long-awaited event. Sponsors: SIBUR holding and Neftegazpererabotka helped bring the idea to life. The donated funds were used to build a stable and an arena, and the trainer was trained in professional development courses. In 2016, the club opened its doors for the first time. There are all conditions for engaging in a spectacular and aristocratic sport. Now one of the main activities of the club is hippotherapy. In 2020, the organization launched the project «Riding in the sun» and won the competition of the presidential grants Fund. The coach has been specially trained to work with special children. Children with disabilities go through rehabilitation and start training at the age of ten. The level of physical fitness does not matter. During training sessions that last at least 2 hours, children perform gymnastic exercises and overcome obstacles on horseback. After classes, they also feed and care for the animals. At this time, relatives are close by and help. Such emotional release, as well as contact with animals, have a positive effect on the development of children and improve family relations. You can also organize an amazing photo session with horses on the territory of the center. This is an indescribable experience of communicating with animals and great shots for memory.
