Surgut

Cinema Gallery

«Cinema Gallery» is a chamber cinema hall located in a separate building. There is only one hall, which can accommodate only 46 people at a time. But the main difference between this cinema and others in Surgut is that it is fully equipped for people with disabilities. This is one of the few places where even visually impaired and blind viewers can watch movies thanks to the installed «dolbyfidelio» audio system with the function of tiflokommentirovaniya. And the hall also serves as a social one. This means that free sessions are held here, where elderly people and families can come. At the same time, they show not only classic movies, but also new rental products. Including in 3D format. The kinovideocentre is one of the oldest not only in Surgut, but in Ugra. It was opened in 1979 as the Khanty-Mansiysk film rental department of the Committee on Cinematography under the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR to serve employees of the oil and gas industry. Later, on the basis of the institution, a film exchange point was opened, which worked until 2005. Today it is a modern cinema with comfortable seats and modern equipment, where watching movies is a pleasure.
