District House of Folk Art

For more than 60 years, the District House of Folk Art has been a place where you can fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the life of the indigenous peoples of the North, study their history, culture and learn more about national crafts. It offers interactive programs about the traditional culture of the Ob Ugrians, master classes in decorative, applied and fine arts, folk vocals and even the study of the Khanty language. You can learn how to make a traditional Khanty amulet doll, bead products with traditional patterns, and also try to create a ceramic souvenir with a national flavor. All this is taught here by real masters of folk art. The house of folk art will be interesting for both adults and children. In addition, a unique project "Dialogue of national Cultures" has been implemented on the basis of the institution for several years, within the framework of which interesting festivals "Let's join hands, friends", "Rus" are held.
