Monument to Vladimir Vysotsky
The monument to the poet, composer, singer and actor Vladimir Vysotsky is a gift to residents for the anniversary of the city from the president of the LUKOIL oil company Vagit Alekperov. The image of Vladimir Vysotsky in bronze was recreated by the famous Russian artist and sculptor Zurab Tseretelli. The weight of the composition is about four tons.
The monument was opened in 2012 as part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the city of Pokachi. The monument was opened by the governor of Ugra Komarova Natalia Vladimirovna, the president of the LUKOIL company Alekperov Vagit Yusufovich and the head of the city of Pokachi Khaliullin Rayan Zalilovich.
