Sculptural composition "Sable family"

The name of the city of Pokachi comes from the surname of the Khanty family of the Pokachevs, who have lived in this territory since time immemorial. Pokachi is one of the youngest and smallest towns in the district. The population of our city is about 18 thousand people. The city is multi-ethnic: Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Tatars, Kazakhs, peoples of Caucasian nationalities. Today 124 Khanty people live in our city, these are 38 families, of which 8 families bear the surname Pokachev. The coat of arms of the city of Pokachi is decorated with a golden sable. That is why the main symbol of the city was the sculptural composition "Sable family", installed in the center of the park "Taiga". The authors and manufacturers of the sculpture were employees of the Kasli Art Casting Plant from the city of Chelyabinsk. The Sable family is a symbol of preserving family continuity and natural resources of the Pokachevo land. And an urban legend has already appeared that if you whisper your wishes into the ears of sables, they will definitely come true.
