Alexander Petrov Embankment

Alexander Petrov Embankment is an equipped, environmentally friendly public space along the water line of the Konda River, not far from the central part of the city. The Alexander Petrov embankment improvement project became the winner of the All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements in 2020, and already in 2021 the Embankment of the Konda River shone with bright lights. There are more than 120 light poles installed on the embankment, a video surveillance system is working, it is comfortable and safe here. There are sidewalks and bike paths with a length of 2,100 sq.m, sports grounds for football and volleyball, children's playgrounds and a parkour area, exercise equipment and a cordodrome, a modern, equipped playground for walking and training dogs, light installations and art objects. Pavilion, public toilet, sports equipment rental and cafe. On the embankment of the Alexander Petrov Konda River, a key art object "Suri" is installed, symbolizing the image of the Suri seagull bird, the symbol of our city.
