Course Series "Northern Expeditions"

The "Northern Expeditions" sessions will introduce visitors to the history of scientific expeditions, exploration, and study of the northern lands. Together with a guide, you will delve into the legends of the Kiryas Barge—one of the most mysterious exhibits of the Regional Museum. Who traveled on this vessel at the end of the 18th century, and how did the archaeological expedition to the shores of Kiryas unfold? Who studied the Northern territories, how, and why during different eras, and how did entire expeditions become forgotten?
