Central City Library named after A.S. Pushkin
The library was founded in 1965. In 2001, a new building was opened on Republic Street, and in 2002 the library was named after Alexander Pushkin.
Currently, the Pushkin Central Library is a center for information, communication, learning, and live dialogue.
The service is provided using a single reader's ticket for all libraries of the Centralized Library System of the city of Surgut.
The library's users (about 30,000) are preschool and school-age children, parents, students, teachers, employees of budget and commercial organizations, and pensioners. Any resident of the city can become a user of the library.
