Surgut Music and Drama Theater

Surgut Music and Drama Theater is the largest theater in Ugra with a twenty-year history. The first production took place here in 1998. The uniqueness of the theater lies in the original director's view of Russian and foreign classical works. In another way, the concept of this theater is called the «version of the young»: this is a familiar theatrical art to us, but in the context of actual modern problems. Only in this cultural institution of Ugra you will be able to watch the plastic performance «Children's Games», on which the choreographer-director of the film «Dudes» Oleg Glushkov worked. Or a children's play based on Serbian folk tales «Tsarev the Sharpener», which was directed by Andrea Ada Lazic from Serbia.
