UIA "City Cultural Center"

Municipal Autonomous Institution "City Cultural Center" (UIA "City Cultural Center") is a modern multicultural center, the founder of which is the Administration of the city of Surgut and manages in the person of the curator - the Committee of Culture. Multifunctional space – a concert hall, multi-genre creative teams, a center for the organization of citywide projects and a universal platform for custom events of various formats. The oldest palace of culture "Builder" was established on November 24, 1969. In 2005, it was reorganized into a municipal cultural institution "City Cultural Center". Since 2010, the center has acquired the status of an autonomous institution. In 2019, the oldest cultural institution in the city – the City Cultural Center (formerly the Builder Recreation Center) – celebrated 50 years since its opening! The city cultural center is a place that accumulates communication and culture of people of different ages, nationalities, faiths, interests. It is the most important center for the preservation and development of folk art!
