The High mountain settlement is a sacred place and the oldest archaeological monument in the Kondinsky district. It is also the only one that has preserved its original appearance. High mountain is not afraid of centuries – throughout this time, trees grow exclusively around, but its territory remains clear of the forest. Now the mountain – one of the exhibits Uchinskaya historical-ethnographic Museum. A unique place one and a half kilometers southwest of the village of Polovinka on the Bank of the Uchinya river was discovered in 1703 by the scientist Semyon Remezov.
