Museum-estate of the rural merchant Ryazantsev

In 2007, a branch of the Museum of Nature and Man «Museum-estate of a rural merchant» was established in the village of Seliyarovo. It is an economic and residential architectural ensemble, which consists of a wooden house, a barn and a barn-zavozni. These buildings have survived to this day and belonged to the family of merchants Ryazantsev. The head of the family – Evgeny Akimovich Ryazantsev-appeared in the village of Seliyarovo around 1859. He was known as a fisherman and merchant. Already in the 1880s, all trade in the nearby villages and yurts was in his hands. All the buildings from the architectural ensemble, thanks to the preserved layout and decor, are an example of the wooden architecture of the Russian old-timers. restored buildings by the forces of caring countrymen. Today it is a small cozy museum. In the merchant's house there are three stationary expositions: «Peasant's hut», «Merchant's shop», «Merchant's living room». here are the household items of the xviii-xix centuries. But in the barn-zavozne there are no expositions, since the entire building is an exhibit and a separate monument of regional significance. exhibits for the village museum were collected by the whole village, together with the employees of the museum of nature and man. The merchant's great-grandchildren deposited archival photos and documents, as well as military awards of the merchant's granddaughter. The museum and historical complex has become the pride of the Museum of Nature and Man.
