The history of one large family became the basis for the creation of the museum. Furniture and household items that once served the residents of the village of Zenkovo are now exhibits. The museum was collected bit by bit, musical instruments, antique scissors, inkwells, mirrors, sofas, clocks were carried. There is a sewing machine, a table of the chairman of the village council. The Gerasimov Family Museum is located in the surviving building of the former creamery. The heart of the museum and one of the oldest exhibits is the cabinet. It was made by one of the ancestors of the modern Gerasimovs. Since then, he has been passing from one generation to another. Next to the wardrobe there is a table, a bed with lace linen embroidered with a cross, crystal dishes, clothes, orders and medals, wooden tubs with embossed family initials. All this, according to local residents, is a real cultural value.
