«Old Surgut» Historical and cultural center

The historical and cultural center «Old Surgut» is a historical and ethnographic complex located in a picturesque place in the central part of the city on the banks of the Saimaa River. There are 14 wooden houses on the territory. All of them are reconstructions of old buildings that once stood in different parts of the city, but were later assembled into a single architectural ensemble. The historical and cultural center «Old Surgut» gives a visual representation of the historical appearance that Surgut had at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries, and has been open to visitors since 1999.
