State Nature Reserve of Federal Significance "Vaspukholsky"

The reserve "Vaspukholsky" is located on the territory of two districts of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Khanty-Mansiysk and Kondinsky. The reserve is part of the mAlaya Sosva State Nature Reserve. The reserve was established on December 23, 1993 on the territory with a total area of more than 93 thousand hectares, which is divided into three tracts – Vaspukhol, Vintya, Bolshoy Khoy. The basis of its activity is the conservation of the taiga reindeer population, as well as the reproduction of valuable hunting and commercial and red Book animal species.
