Langepas
Sculpture "Squirrel"
The sculpture of the Squirrel, which is the symbol of Langepas, was installed on a granite pedestal in the fall of 2005, in honor of its 20th anniversary. Langepas in translation from the Khanty language means "Squirrel land".Local residents have a belief that if you rub the bump in the squirrel's hands, then there will be prosperity at home, and if the squirrel's nose, then all cherished desires will be fulfilled.
