Ob River Museum

Our museum begins its history since 1982. Then the Council of the public museum was created and work began on the formation of funds and their display. In 2002, the City Museum of Local Lore was already registered as the "Museum of the Ob River". To date, the Ob River Museum is a structural subdivision of the Historical and Art Museum Complex of the city of Nefteyugansk. Exhibitions are exhibited here, educational programs are developed and implemented, research work is carried out, scientific articles and monographs are published. At the same time, the main task is to identify, study, preserve and introduce historical and cultural values into scientific circulation. The funds of our Museum Complex are unique exhibits that tell about the ancient and modern history of the region, its amazing flora and fauna. And also about the industrial development of the Nefteyugansk region, the history of the formation of the young city and its enterprises. Museum and educational programs have been developed on the basis of our collections, museum classes are held, exhibitions are organized.
