Inter-Settlement center of national crafts and crafts

The inter-settlement center for national crafts and crafts started functioning in the village of Agan in may 2008. During this time, the masters restored several ancient technologies of decorative and applied art. Namely: weaving mats and carpets from Wheatgrass, as well as reeds, making birch bark products, plucked string instruments. In addition, experts revived some technologies for making natural dyes, toys of the vakhov Khanty, plucked deer, roadside grass carpets and national clothing. And since the main goal of the center is to preserve and revive folk crafts, the masters are willing to share all their skills. The institution regularly organizes master classes. During the work of the organization, more than 280 of them have already taken place. In addition, the center organizes the production of Souvenirs. Therefore, each guest of the center can choose a favorite item for themselves or as a gift – the range is large. This includes jewelry, toys, and household items. The final highlight of the day in the center will be a small photo session in national clothes and tasting of local cuisine. Informative, fun and delicious!
