Municipal state institution "Ethnographic Park-Museum of S. Variogan"
The ethnographic Park-Museum of the village of Variegan is located in a picturesque corner, the national village of Variegan in the Nizhnevartovsky district of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra. It was founded in 1987 by the famous poet-writer Yuri Vella.
The main goals and objectives of the institution are to preserve, study, promote and develop the historical and cultural heritage of the traditional culture of the indigenous peoples of the Agan Khanty and forest Nenets. Familiarization of guests with the national characteristics, material and spiritual culture of the indigenous peoples of the North. Organization of Museum services to the population, taking into account the interests and needs of various socio-age and educational groups.
