The Sailing Ship «Victory»

An art object that attracts the attention of all visitors to the river port in Khanty-Mansiysk is the Pobeda sailboat. He decorated the city embankment in 2009 on the initiative of employees of Severrechflot. The sailboat was made from a real boat, which was topped with masts. As a result of a small alteration, a smaller copy of the sea vessel appeared. It is made of wood and mounted on a metal pedestal. This art object looks especially beautiful in the warm season. After all, the entire interior of the ship and the masts are strewn with flowers in summer. And every year they are different. As well as the color of the sailboat itself, it is always a surprise for residents and guests of the city. The range is changed annually. Only the name of the ship – «Victory» - remains unchanged. Thus, the thematic decoration of the embankment is a perfect background for photos for memory before leaving Khanty-Mansiysk.
