It was erected in honor of the 70th anniversary of the great Victory in 2015. The memorial complex consists of a bronze figure of a soldier standing on one knee with the Victory banner in his hands. The eternal flame is located nearby on a granite pedestal, and the memorial of memory is located around the perimeter. Walking along it, you can find out the names of all the residents of Kogalym who did not return from the war.
