Kogalym

Sculpture composition «Kogalym Time»

The sculpture «Kogalym Time» is another gift to the city from oil workers on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of LUKOIL – AIK and the thirtieth birthday of The city. The composition is installed on the territory of the company's office. The peculiarity of the sculpture is that it contains a real Swiss mechanism, which can be seen in the composition. The clock always shows the most accurate time, since the setting is done via satellite. At first glance, the sculpture seems unnecessarily surreal. However, if you look closely, you can find a lot of symbolic details inside. The dial is made in the form of a globe with a diameter of about two meters. Kogalym is marked on it by a derrick. And there is a clock on the skeleton symbolizing an oil well. Nails are shown on the map of the city where LUKOIL is present, and a pen with a pen is a symbol of Its prosperity. At the top, a squirrel is installed as a symbol of continuous movement and life. Well, a piece of cheese on a fork means the oil company's share of the market. And that's not all! All the other ideas and meanings brought to the sculpture by the artist Andrey Kozlov, you can see by examining the composition properly. It is worth noting that when creating the master used the technique of artistic forging.
