Sculpture composition "Pearl of Western Siberia"

The phrase "Kogalym is the Pearl of Western Siberia" is quite common in the media and various print publications. The sculpture "Pearl of Western Siberia" symbolizes the success of Kogalym in socio-economic development, harmonious layout and cleanliness of the city. The word "Kogalym" in translation from the Khanty language means "a lost place", "swamp". But, despite this name, today the city of Kogalym is one of the most prosperous in the region, which has been repeatedly confirmed at district and All-Russian competitions.
