«Stele of military glory»

Another architectural and sculptural composition of the honored artist of Russia and member of the artists of Russia Volodya Sargsyan, dedicated to the exploits of Russian soldiers and officers. You can find the monument in the third microdistrict of Nefteyugansk in Victory Square, which is a venue for city events on military themes. The stele is mounted on a large pedestal and is crowned with a voluminous bronze coat of arms of the Russian Federation 8.5 meters high. The stele and pedestal, in turn, are lined with composite material and form a composition in a single scale. In addition to the stele on the pedestal, there are also rectangular structures-pylons. They are bronze plaques with symbols of the genera and species of troops of the Russian Armed forces, as well as descriptions of: the Border service of FSB of the Russian Armed forces, Internal troops of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia. The entire architectural and sculptural composition is a symbol of the unification of all branches of the armed forces. It was created in the city of Revda, Sverdlovsk region, in the art workshop of Ivan Dubrovin, and then was transported to Nefteyugansk. The Grand opening of the «Stele of military glory» took place in 2012.
