The Park «Youth»

The Park «Youth» is one of the favorite places for walking residents and guests of Yugorsk. It consists of a semicircular square and many pedestrian paths designed for the promenade. Until 2012 on the site of the Park was just a wooded area. Until one day, the city-forming enterprise took the initiative to improve the territory and make it a place of recreation for citizens. The whole city took up the task with enthusiasm-they regularly went out on joint clean-up days to clear the place for the future Park. When the garbage was finished, the landscaping continued with the installation of benches. Several interesting sculptures appeared on the Central square of the square and during the traditional biker festival «Vzletka». In 2014, representatives of this public organization made a considerable contribution and created several truly interesting masterpieces of folk art. And in 2016, the city community of businessmen helped with the arrangement of the square-here they installed figures of fairy-tale characters. The gift to the city was appreciated by both children and their parents. It is planned that every year the square will be updated with new architectural forms.
