Central Children's Library "Read-the city"

"Read-the city" is a cozy space for reading, creativity and leisure. And for children of different ages and hobbies. To make it as exciting as possible for the children, librarians approach the organization of events with imagination, create the most interesting clubs of interest, conduct excursions. Book events are held in the library for children of three to five years old, thematic events are held for older children, experiments in physics and chemistry are waiting for schoolchildren. The rich book fund, which is about 42,000 documents on various media, meets the interests of children and adolescents. These are toy books for the youngest, and popular wimmelbooks, and various comics, detective stories and fairy tales with bright illustrations. Fans of gadgets and technology will like the unique "Media Collection". This is the real heart of the library. More than a hundred exhibits of the 50s, 80s and 90s of the last century, including radios, cameras, telephones and record collections. The interior of the hall matches the exposition – white curtains with lace, a wooden chest of drawers, a bookcase, a clock with a mechanical winding and albums with photos of film artists and cosmonauts. A nice bonus is weekly viewing of filmstrips and listening to fairy tales and songs on the player.
