Historical art object "An-24 Aircraft"

In 2021, a park space for citizens to relax with benches, asphalt paths, lawns, street lights and neon swings appeared in Uray. The center of attraction in the park is a new historical art object - the AN-24 aircraft, on which the discoverers arrived in Urai in the 60s and important cargo was transported, became the central exhibit in the park dedicated to the discoverers of the Shaim oil. In Soviet times, the AN-24 was one of the most popular aircraft and provided a third of passenger traffic in the country. The reason for the high demand for the liner was its ability to land on small unprepared airfields and ground. Now this "winged worker" is installed on an improvised runway, with a special adjustable backlight. In the evening, when it is turned on and the windows of the aircraft are lit, there is a feeling that the engines will start working now, our hero will smoothly push off from the pedestal and begin his usual run-up. The fuselage of the aircraft bears the logo of the LUKOIL oil company, as well as the names of the cities of the oil region: Uray, Kogalym, Langepas. The accent in the color palette was not accidentally energizing, strong and determined red, because this is the main corporate color of PJSC LUKOIL, thanks to which the An-24 aircraft received a second life. The weight of the aircraft is slightly more than 13 tons,: length – 23 meters 53 centimeters, wingspan – 29 meters 20 centimeters, height -8 meters 32 centimeters.
