Art object "Suri Bird"

The Suri bird is a symbol depicted on the coat of arms of the city of Urai. According to legend, the bird "Suri" is a river gull, one of the patron spirits and guardians of the Mansi villages. She constantly accompanies a person and always stays close to his home. Therefore, the locals still put a magical meaning into the image of this bird. The art object is made of bronze, according to the sketches of Sofia Parfentieva, a student of the 11th grade of MBOU secondary school "Gymnasium" and is located on the observation deck of the embankment named after Alexander Petrov.
