Art wall dedicated to the history of Shaim oil

Unique graffiti dedicated to the history of Shaim oil appeared in Uray quite recently and immediately became a new attraction. One of the largest drawings in the district was placed on Uzbekistanskaya Street in May 2020. The wall of the garage cooperative, with a length of 1,500 m2, served as an improvised canvas. The huge canvas is made in only 3 colors: black, white and red. And in terms of meaning-it is divided into 3 thematic blocks. The first one is located on part of the fence, which is adjacent to the Memorial of Memory. Here are images dedicated to the heroic contribution of veterans to the victory in the Great Patriotic War. The central block is dedicated directly to the history of the oil industry. you can see what oil workers used during the development of fields in those years, what were their real everyday life. one of the main exhibits is a portrait of the legendary master semyon urusov, under whose leadership a team of pioneers was the first to start drilling on konda. well, the last part of the work is devoted to the love of their land, careful attitude to nature and ecology. the initiators of the creation of a kind of chronicle of the history of the city and the birth of shaim oil were veterans of the largest enterprise. their idea was supported by the director of the cci «uraineftegaz» sergey yaskin. As a result, Urai has gained an interesting and useful attraction.
