«Oktyabrsky» fish factory

Oktyabrsky Fish Factory was established in 1930, the year of the foundation of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Ugra. The main suppliers were fishing artels, consisting of Hunts and Mansi. they brought all the fish they got to the factory and handed it over for processing. The fish factory was located in kondinskoe village and had the name – Konda fishery Tobolsk Bribriesco. Initially, all fish caught in the summer was shipped in salted form, and in winter - in frozen form. The first industrial refrigeration unit was launched at the fish factory in 1939. During the Great Patriotic War, the plant's employees produced 4.5 thousand tons of fish per year. this maximum catch was organized mainly by women and teenagers. during the war years, 23 thousand tons of fish were sent to the front. And all this on rowboats and linen seines and nets. After the war, equipment and nylon nets came to the aid of fishermen. Since the mid-1960s, years in the fishery begin to implement to pontoons, boats and mobile machines cold. Since 1967, the plant itself also uses only machine-frozen fish storage. since 1984, a freezing shop with a capacity of 48 tons per day has been operating. in parallel, a huge amount of work is being done on river reclamation. the mouths are deepened so that the fish come in for the winter. In 1987, a culinary workshop was opened on the basis of the fish factory, which produces up to 18.5 tons of processed fish of ten names. These are semi-finished products, as well as salted, dried, smoked fish. today, the plant is still engaged in the production of fish on an industrial scale, its processing and sale of fish products.
