Sculpture "Angel of Peace - guardian of Love, Family and Loyalty"

The grand opening of the sculpture "Angel of Peace - guardian of Love, Family and Fidelity" took place on August 26, 2016. Bishop Photios of Yugra and Nyagan took part in the ceremony. Vladyka consecrated the sculpture. The sculpture was donated to our city from the family of local entrepreneurs Matieshins. The three-meter statue was made by Pyotr Timofeevich Stronsky (academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, People's Artist of the Russian Federation, President of the International Academy of Culture and Art). The golden Nyagan angel holds an icon of Saints Peter and Fevronia of Murom, who in the Russian Orthodox world are considered patrons of family happiness and fidelity.
