Monument to participants in the elimination of radiation and man-made disasters
The monument was erected near the Federal State Institution "5th detachment of the Federal Fire Service in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra" and opened on November 07, 2011.
The composition of the monument includes twelve figures of rescuers, above which are figures of three angels and three birds. There is a bell on top of the monument.
The height of the monument is 7.2 meters, weight – 9.7 tons.
This monument is a tribute to the participants of the Chernobyl accident liquidation, a reminder of the strength of the human spirit.
The monument was made in Yekaterinburg. The author of the monument is Tyumen sculptor Gennady Petrovich Vostretsov.
