Sports Glory Square

The square was opened in the year of the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra in 2022. The monument "Stars of Nizhnevartovsk sport" in the form of a ball with stars, each of which contained the names of sports heroes, was previously installed on the territory of the square. The stars were eventually filled in and new monumental and decorative elements - "Star Trees" – were installed to accommodate the new names. The monumental base of the "Star Tree" has a dynamic shape, symbolizing movement, speed, and throw. The square has a territory for holding celebrations on the main square from the side of 60 Let Oktyabrya Street, and for a quiet rest on Yin-Yang Square in the center of the Alley of Glory. The alley was equipped after analyzing the main pedestrian flows. Designer: Nizhnevartovsk Promstroyproekt LLC, Director T.P.
