The historical complex "Sukhoi Bor"

The historical complex "Sukhoi Bor" is an open-air museum: the site of the famous well No. 6, which started on June 21, 1960, and the dispatch of the first tanker, from where a tanker with the first industrial oil of Western Siberia was sent to the Omsk Oil Refinery in 1964. This significant event gave an impetus to the rapid development of oil production in Western Siberia. The central figure in the complex is a monument made of pipes, symbolizing an oil fountain. It is located exactly at the place where the well was drilled. Nearby there is a majestic stele with the telling name "At the origins of Siberian oil" and an alley with the names of people who were involved in the development of the territory. Well, if you go down the wide steps, you can see the TN-652 tanker moored near the shore. In the tanks of this vessel, in 1964, the Shaim oil went to the "mainland". In 2022, a large-scale reconstruction of the historical complex was carried out. Now a whole collection of retro machines is on display on the territory, which in those distant years delivered vital goods for the city and industries, transported drillers and oil workers to the fields. A special attraction of the complex is the recreated housing of the pioneers of the Shaim oil - dugouts, which were then built on the banks of the Kolosya River.
