Newlyweds ' alley

There is such a tradition in Nefteyugansk-to start a family life with a visit to the «alley of newlyweds». This historical and architectural complex was inaugurated on October 16, 2010 between the Holy spirit temple complex and All Saints Church. Introduction to the complex begins with a Welcome arch-a symbol of the beginning of the entrance to family life. This is an openwork wrought-iron arch with wedding rings and the inscription «Newlyweds ' Alley». The arch is made of metal and is decorated with six architectural lights and two bells cast at the Pyatkov & K factory, where temple bells are cast. Next, the newlyweds symbolically pass through a garden and Park openwork metal building-a pergola. It consists of a series of arches connected to each other and topped with metal vine leaves. The pergola symbolizes the couple's protection from the adversity of the outside world. Installed at the top of the pergola, Cupid's weather vane escorts the newlyweds to the «stones of happiness». They are 7 granite cylindrical stones, different in height. Interestingly, the stones were made using coarse-grained granite extracted in the province of Guangzhou in China. Next, the couple meets the «Bridge of kisses», which spans the «Stream». This symbolizes all the obstacles that a couple needs to overcome on the path of life. The «Stream» composition is made of stones of different textures, framed by plants. This solution creates the illusion of a real stream. After the bridge, the newlyweds go on a straight road to the sculpture of Peter and Fevronia, the patrons of marriage, who are a model of loyalty and love. They are depicted in full growth with a light source in the hands of Princess Fevronia. The light in the sculpture's hands lights up along with the street lights. A prayer to the saints is placed on a granite pedestal. A little further away is the «Tree of life». This is an openwork wrought-iron tree, the crown of which consists of more than 2 thousand leaves. The tree symbolizes the stability and well-being of a young family, which is only growing every year. Completes the sculptural composition «bench of reconciliation». There is a belief that if a couple sits on the bench in a quarrel, then the discord will be forgotten. According to the sculptor's plan, the couple will come together from different ends of the bench due to gravity. A beautiful and meaningful place that is simply impossible to miss.
